You are hereby invited to attend the club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, 16th May 2018, at Salterns Working Mens Club, 43 Newtown Road, Warsash, SO31 9FY. Doors open from 7.15pm with the meeting due to start at 7.30pm.

The AGM is open to all club members. However, as our members are the players and are all under 18s, the voting rights are transferred to the parents of registered players. Please note that each family has one vote only, regardless of the number of registered players. Please can all managers forward a copy of this invitation on to their player’s parents.

Please note that the AGM should be attended by all current committee members. Any committee member who is not available to attend must send a written apology to the Club Secretary no later than the day preceding the meeting (Tuesday 15th May 2018).

Please can all club officials and league secretaries prepare a written report detailing activity in their area of responsibility in the current season. You will need to present your report at the AGM and these will be included in the minutes.

In accordance with club rules, all Club Officials and Committee Posts are open for election at the AGM. To comply with FA regulations, we must fill the mandatory posts in order to be able affiliate to our county FA.

If you would like to be considered for election to any of the following posts, please send your nomination in writing to the Club Secretary with a proposer and a seconder from the current committee. Please note that no individual may hold more than two club officer posts and that best practise is for each post to be held by a different person.

Please note that elected officers and committee members hold office from the conclusion of the AGM until the conclusion next AGM, unless they retire early in accordance with club rules. All team managers become committee members automatically.

The dead line for nominations to be received is Wednesday 9th May 2018. Submission by email is acceptable.

As per the rules of the club, there will be no agenda item for “Any Other Business” at the AGM. Any Items required for inclusion on the agenda must be notified to the Club Secretary prior to the AGM. Again, the deadline for submission agenda items for the AGM is Wednesday 9th May 2018.

A 6 aside tournament planning meeting will follow the AGM.
